Rayon / Viscose

Viscose is obtained from recycled plant residues, which are then chemically treated. Thus, viscose is a mixture of natural and synthetic fibres. In the textile sector, viscose is often used on its own but also mixed with other materials such as cotton, linen or velvet.

Care of viscose:

Viscose requires some care, as it can shrink quickly if washed incorrectly. High temperatures should therefore be avoided at all costs. A delicate wash cycle with a suitable detergent and a gentle wash at up to 40 degrees is optimal. After washing, it is best to hang the viscose garment and, if necessary, iron it dry on a gentle setting.
